A 55-year-old Edmonton woman is facing charges after her vehicle struck a pedestrian Tuesday morning.
The collision took place at the intersection of Hebert Road and Sunset Boulevard. A 50-year-old St. Albert woman was struck as she was crossing in the marked crosswalk. An ambulance transported her to hospital for treatment. There is no word on her injuries or her condition. There was no damage to the vehicle.
The driver was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
