St. Albert Dinner Theatre
The city of St. Albert’s only dinner theatre launches its 2018-19 season with The Regifters, a Christmas comedy that strikes at the heart of gift giving.In playwright Robert Lynch’s comical allegory, a couple re-gifts a present they can’t identify. But after giving it away, they learn it’s extremely valuable.
They set out to retrieve it and discover they’re not the only ones who re-gifted it. A mad chase is on to get it back. But during the pursuit, material greed gives way to learning the value of friendship and true wealth.

Canada’s greatest songs
The Great Canadian Songbook, coming to Morinville Community Cultural Centre on Saturday, Nov. 10, is a showcase of some of the greatest Canadian songs past and present.Singer-songwriter Ken Lavigne, sub-Arctic born folksinger Diyet and Tiller’s Folly, a trio firmly rooted in acoustic traditions, celebrate music from coast to coast.
As a patriotic fivesome, they will feature songs that range from Leonard Cohen, Stan Rogers and Joni Mitchell to Buffy St. Marie, Barenaked Ladies and Blue Rodeo.
