Dragon Boat Festival
The colour and excitement of the Dragon Boat Festival is second to none. It’s an opportunity for the region to enjoy Asian culture and take part in the festivities.A dragon boat drummer pounds a rhythmic drum beat which keeps paddlers in sync as they battle neck-and-neck against equally determined rivals.
This year due to construction at Louise McKinney Park, the Asian-inspired regatta is taking place at Leduc’s Telford Lake on Aug. 18 and 19.
