It’s Christmas and a lot of major acts are announcing tours in hopes of tempting more fans to their concerts.
On Thursday, Dec. 20, Ticketmaster will likely be burning up the lines. Two major artists are set to release a public sale of tickets.
Snoop Dogg’s rap pack
The Snoop Dogg & Friends Tour is officially a go as the celebrity rapper is slated to hit Rogers Place on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019.It’s been 25 years since the rap icon released his hip-hop classic Doggystyle and he’s now taking this 1993 success on tour across Western Canada.
Joining him are old friends Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Warren G, Kurupt and Luniz.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Prices are $39.50 to $109.50 plus service charges, and are available at 1-855-985-5000 or www.ticketmaster.ca.
Cher tour adds shows
The incomparable Cher is set to hit the road with the Here We Go Again Tour beginning in January. The legendary singer just added five stops in Western Canada including Rogers Place on Saturday, May 25.Record producer, songwriter, musician Nile Rodgers and Chic are joining the tour as special guests.
Cher is expected to perform many of her hits along with some recent pop songs from the Dancing Queen album – Cher’s tribute to ABBA.
