Brian Webb Dance Company presents…

The amazing Edmonton actress/movement innovator Amber Borotsik has choreographed Prairie Dance Circuit’s opening production of the season.

Presented by Brian Webb Dance Company, The Moon at Midnight is a love letter to the powerful physicality of modern dance.

Sparked by a horror movie, it delves into the mind through a shattering yet sublime interaction between dance, theatre, sound and light.

Borotsik’s imagination has developed a prairie aesthetic that praises individuality, diversity and the coming together of talented individuals to explore life’s riddles.

The nine dancers including Borotsik are Lin Snelling, Pearl Edwards, Richard Lee, Brooke Leifso, Laura Raboud, Gianna Vacirca, Jeannie Vandekerkhove and Bill Yong.

The Moon at Midnight was co-created with Jesse Gervais, sound designer Aaron Macri and lighting designer Stephanie Bahniuk.

The Moon at Midnight takes place Sept. 23 and 24 at the Timms Centre for the Arts, 112 St. and 87 Ave. Showtime is $8 p.m.

Single tickets are $35 regular, $25 students/seniors. Call 780-420-1757 or at tixonthesquare.ca.
