Jim Witter last toured his show The Long and Winding Road at the Arden Theatre back in 2007, two years after introducing The Piano Men.
After a decade-long absence, this incredibly versatile performer returns with an updated version of John Lennon and Paul McCartney's multi-media exploration – The Long and Winding Road.
Throughout this musical tribute, Witter explores not only the two musicians' musical landscape, but also their song-writing relationship that was at times turbulent.
But through it all, the legendary duo created the Beatles biggest hits and iconic songs that remain a signature of 20th century pop-rock music. Witter performs some of their timeless hits such as Yesterday, Hey Jude and Blackbird.

To start off the new year, Alberta Baroque Ensemble will present Haydn's The Philosopher, at Robertson-Wesley United Church on Sunday, Feb. 5.
Sponsored by the Wirth Institute for Austrian and Central European Countries, The Philosopher is a good example of a work that bridges the late Baroque and classical styles.
The main musical idea unfolds in the spirit of the chorale with a slow-fast-slow-fast sequence and ends with a galloping finale and hunting calls on the horn.
Guest performers are Megan Evans, assistant horn player with Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, and violinist Jack Forestier.
Also performing are St. Albert violinist Neda Yamach and cellist Ronda Metszies.
