In a press release, Alberta Minister of Health Tyler Shandro said they want to ensure physicians on the front lines can focus solely on providing patient care.

“It’s changing day by day, hour by hour. But I think it's really important to listen to local leaders. Listen to municipal leaders, reach out to provincial leaders and follow the advice of the experts and the scientists and the researchers,” St. Albert MLA Marie Renaud said.

“This is completely uncharted territory for us as a municipality, for Canada, for the world. In terms of being a tourism destination, we have not faced anything like this before.”

Hinshaw returned back to work in-person Tuesday after self-isolating

“For a Fire Chief in quarantine, it is a challenge to feel disconnected," said Canmore Fire-Rescue's Walter Gahler "But the important thing to recognize is it’s not about me or any one person, it is about the community as a whole, the vulnerable population, the older, the medically compromised – it’s about protecting those folks."
