Hinshaw said the province has updated the self-isolation timeline for those who are sick. Anyone who is sick is being asked now to self-isolate for 10 days from the onset of symptoms, rather than the previous 14 days.If symptoms continue after 10 days, Albertans should continue to self-isolate.

The premier said reversing the 3.4-per-cent increase should save around $55 million for households and $32 million for businesses, for a total of $87 million a year.

The Prime Minister is speaking to premiers later today to discuss how to prevent the spread of COVID-19 going forward. He said he has not ruled out enforcement options.
