Lannie Flamond, a single mom, is working from home and is trying to move. Initially, the thought of having to support her kids through online learning was “alarming.” She said the teachers are walking them through how to set everything up, step by step, making the transition much easier for parents.

AHS plans to increase ICU capacity by 1,081 beds for COVID-19 patients by the end of April, if necessary. There are currently 293 ICU beds in the province.

I'd like to thank three Good Samaritans for carrying my husband to the car after he slipped and fell on ice on March 28. He received excellent, prompt care at the Sturgeon Hospital thanks to Dr. Toeg, Carmela, Chelsea, Justine and Tyler.
