Last weekend saw eight players from St. Albert Rugby Club (SARFC) represent Edmonton Gold at the annual ARC 7s tournament.
Five boys and three girls fought hard at the University of Alberta 'Dome.
The U18 girls team, with St. Albert players Kate De La Mare, Marisa Sliger, and Paikea Wall, went undefeated to win gold with SARFC coach Kendall Dewitt.
St. Albert players on the boys team, with coach Paul Looker, included Justyn Baniak, Luka Crncevic, Jeremy Olson, Conor McManus, and Mason Gagne.
