The first pillar of the plan includes allocating taxing rights to market jurisdictions where the world's largest multinational corporations do business, regardless of whether they have a physical presence there.

The new order, in effect until Oct. 31, calls for at least 10 fire-detection patrols every 24 hours on stretches of track that run through Lytton. It also makes conductors responsible for spotting and reporting fires on those lines and requires removal of combustible materials following "vegetation control measures."

The suspected human-caused fire is one of more than 300 currently burning across B.C., 75 of them sparked since Friday, many by lightning.

A youth has been charged with arson following an investigation into last night's fire at a church in Kehewin.

"Global Affairs Canada can confirm that the remains of two Canadian citizens were found at the site. At least two other Canadian citizens remain unaccounted for."  

A fire has destroyed the Our Lady of Mercy church in Kehewin. The church had not been used for a number of years.

Robert Fenton, a member of the CNIB board, said he found a major bug when using the Apple VoiceOver screen reader on his iPhone as he tried to access the app.

He said a Conservative-led country would restore fairness to Albertans who have paid more than their "fair share" to Canada.

The child's father was previously convicted of a 2017 assault against the child's mother when she was pregnant. The parents were also in court earlier this year over a disagreement about custody arrangements.

As of the end of June, more than 4.7 million Canadians between 12 and 39 years old had yet to get their first shot, about one-third of that entire population.
