Retired firefighter and off-duty police recognized from saving driver from pond in Southern Alberta
After witnessing a vehicle drive into an Airdrie retention pond in June 2021, two individuals recognized the occupant was in medical distress and pulled him out of the truck. The two men were recognized for their efforts by the local fire department.
