I'm very proud of the success of St. Albert's farmers market. Now that winter has closed the outdoor version we are again stuffing our loyal vendors into the narrow corridors of St. Albert Place.
Servus Place has expansive concourses that could easily accommodate all our loyal vendors and keep the St. Albert Farmers Market a viable and popular market all winter long. Every shopping mall accommodates concourse vendors – why not us?
The taxpayers of St. Albert are already subsidizing Servus Place and the site can easily accommodate STAT bus service during market Saturdays. It just seems insane to continue the St. Albert Place stuffing drill. It’s both insulting to our loyal market vendors and to the citizens of St. Albert who love and enjoy our market.
