In reply to the letter by Sophie Moffet-Sutton on July 8: I am sorry you feel "disgusted" by the letters of St. Albert residents who dare to tell it how it is, and how they feel about the antics our elected officials pulled over some time now. The residents are just expressing their anger and disappointment with the situation brought to light but never resolved. When there is no resolution, there is no closure, which makes moving on that much harder.

I realize that you might prefer to sweep something under the rug, and pretend it never happened. That just hides it from the public scrutiny, but doesn't make the room any cleaner.
You are correct on one count: "the majority spoke through election results."
Indeed, we did! We brought in a man who is deeply concerned with what's going on, who is a voice of reason, and who will balance the Council voting scales, at the very least.
We are not a "bunch of nagging people." We simply exposed the wrongdoing, and want it dealt with. Oh, and we have no plans of moving any time soon.
I'm afraid, that puts you in the minority pool of those who love their rose-coloured glasses just a tad too much.
