A quick response to Denise van Domselaar's letter "Vaccines cause more harm than measles” in the May 3 edition of the Gazette.
My mom once told me it is better to be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.
There is no scientific evidence that vaccines cause autism.
But there is a great amount of evidence that because some people choose not to vaccinate their kids we are all seeing a big increase in preventable diseases worldwide.
It takes two seconds to find this information from reliable sources on the Internet. It is irresponsible to just write an opinion without facts to back it up. Sounds a little like Jenny McCarthy Syndrome here.
I am wondering if she has ever taken medicine in her lifetime. If so, then she is pretty hypocritical. Drug companies actually invest some of those big dollars into research to help us all feel better.
Just my fact-backed humble opinion.
