Train whistle blowing

Friday night for me was a very enjoyable spring night in St. Albert. I was in my back yard with the wood burning in the fire-pit, drinking a glass of wine. My first back yard fire of the year.

Friday night for me was a very enjoyable spring night in St. Albert.

I was in my back yard with the wood burning in the fire-pit, drinking a glass of wine. My first back yard fire of the year.

In the near distance was the train whistle as the train crossed the Ray Gibbons road. As the frequency of the train is quite low, the train whistle is enjoyable. At one stage recently, I could see the train as it crossed the Ray Gibbons road. However, recently development has taken away seeing the train but I can still hear the train.

This to me is relaxing in a small city: back yard fire-pit, drinking a glass of wine and hearing a train whistle.

I have a chime clock in the house. When it stops, something is wrong. It is too quiet.
