Time to get over negativity

In reference to the letter of Mrs. Carole Clark in the July 1 Gazette, I could not agree more. She has been talking on behalf of the quiet majority and I feel the need to support her words.

Every time I look at the section Your Views in the Gazette, and I see certain names of people that have written again and again (because let's be honest, it is often the same negative people that need to express their opinions and attack the administration of this city), I feel disgusted.

I am thankful for everything our city has to offer. I chose to live here and I am amazed of all the opportunities that our city has to offer to all of its citizens.

These things do not happen by magic, it takes a great administration to achieve it, and it has cost implications. My children could not be growing-up in a better place and I want to thank the people at city hall that make it all happen.

For this negative minority, why aren't you moving? The majority spoke through election results. Let’s move on; leave your personal dissatisfactions aside and show our children that we are a forward-thinking society that makes mistakes at times, learns, and moves on.

We must continue to do great things instead of being a bunch of nagging people that end up swimming endlessly in their own negativity.

Thank you for your work – well done, Mr. Mayor and Councillors, you make our city an amazing place to live.
