This year I attended a rally in Millwoods and an event at Edmonton's Expo Centre; both intended to raise awareness of mental health issues and removing the stigma.
As an individual with bipolar disorder, I've struggled for many years. (I wrote a commentary that was published in the Gazette a few years ago).
My heart goes out to everyone struggling with mental illness; there's always hope. Exercise, eating well and support from family and friends is helping me heal.
