The class of Grade 5 at La Mission school are making Rainbow Loom bracelets, to save up money to buy paint for a school in Nicaragua.

The kids in Grades 11 and 12 are leaving for a little village called Cinco Pińos, on Sunday, Nov. 2 to paint the school called Divino Nińo.

The paint is going to be white so it doesn't attract the heat and it won’t be so hot in the class. The students will also hand out gift bags with crayons.

There will also be leftover money which the students will use to paint their own class. They will calculate how much paint they are going to need, by using the area and the perimeter.

The students are going to do the same thing with the classes at Divino Nińo to know how much paint will be needed for kids who don't have anything in their class.
