The anti-idling bylaw doesn't require any changes

Is anyone else concerned about the city council changing our temperature limits when warming up our cars in St. Albert?

Our smaller children and grandchildren are forbidden from wearing snowsuits in car seats already as they interfere with their safety and now we’ll be putting them into cars that have been sitting at –30 C?

The mayor says that our cars are warm after three minutes but that won’t defrost a windshield when a car has been sitting all night even if you could preset it on your car starter.

Your kids will be loading into ice-cold buses after school, too. We live in a winter city here! Please leave the bylaw the way it exists!
