Sometimes I think we can be a little tough on our city officials. They enter the field to serve, to make St. Albert a better place but many of us become very cynical. Well recently I volunteered for the St. Albert food drive. Guess who was helping unload the vehicles: Mayor Nolan Crouse.
I thought about other times I have run into Nolan. He was at St. Albert’s first pickleball tournament, St. Albert’s bereavement group awards meeting, and at a charity walk.
These were on his time. His wife must be very understanding.
