Special thanks to the Gazette for revealing to all of us what the UCP really stands for.
It is most interesting that regular contributor Brian McLeod, a longtime supporter of the Conservative party, is showing us in his March 23 op-ed what he and the camouflaged PC (now under the moniker UCP) is really all about.
U.S. President Donald Trump is apparently a model of what we can expect from a UCP government in Alberta. He goes on to say “... Canadians have only one option to prevent our national collapse – and that’s the re-election of Trump.”
What a crock!
Trump’s ideas, statements, lifestyle and policies are apparently what Mr. McLeod and therefore Jason Kenney, the UCP, etc. seem to not only agree with, but what we here in Alberta should welcome by supporting the UCP.
McLeod goes on to predict that “what happens in the U.S. is duplicated in Canada.” So if we elect a Jason Kenney government, we will be blessed with a Trump clone as our premier.
Let’s hope we never never elect anything anywhere in Canada that even remotely resembles Donald Trump.
This could happen if we are not careful and get out the vote.
Alberta, unfortunately, has a swill of white supremacists, xenophobes, racists and others of the sludge society like the Aryan Nations, Sons of Odin and others of the same ilk. They are not numerous, but they are very active and can be violent.
We must not allow to occur here what our cousins to the south have inflicted upon themselves.
We here in Alberta have never since “Peter” had a premier who is more honest, hard-working and doing the right thing for all Albertans than Rachel Notley. We must not allow our province to regress to what prevailed for 30 or more years under Getty, Klein, etc.
It takes time, patience and a lot of money to clean up the mess.
