Last night I took my mother out for supper and on a spur of the moment decided to go to Boston Pizza by the Sturgeon hospital. Upon leaving I asked the server for our bill and much to our surprise someone there had paid for our bill. We were so shocked and touched by this kind gesture.
It's been a hard year as my mom had to take my dad to the Sturgeon on their 50th wedding anniversary where he died a short time later, so this will be the first Christmas without him. This kindness from perfect strangers just made the holiday season a little brighter and easier.
We would like to thank the person responsible for this surprise, from the bottom of our hearts, hoping the season brings them such joy and kindness as they did for us. We will be paying this gesture forward in this festive season.
With our heart-felt thanks,
The Morgan Family, St. Albert
