The Community Refugee Committee of St. Albert would like to thank the Gazette staff for their assistance in promoting our latest fundraiser, the Parking Lot Garage Sale held on Sept. 9. The Sale was very successful with approximately $1,250 raised for the support of our refugee family who will be arriving at the end of this month. In particular we would like to thank Ashterah Quinn-Martell for posting our ads in the events section numerous times and Scott Hayes for putting in a plug on our Facebook site for the community to make donations to our sale and advertising same in the Gazette's Community section online.
