I have just retired and I want to thank St. Albert Transit for 20-plus years of getting me safely to and from work every time. This has happened through all kinds of weather and traffic conditions. St. Albert Transit drivers are skilful, professional, and intent on getting you to your destination (in spite of raging blizzards, careless pedestrians, and erratic drivers). I want to give a special thanks to my “Back of the Bus Buddies” who have made the trips fun and memorable. It sure makes the time pass quickly when you are laughing and having fun. Thanks Alice, Kim, Marlene, Scott, Shaun, Sherry, Stephen and to former “BBB” Larry and Wayne.
For those of you still driving the long commute to downtown Edmonton – give the environment a break and give transit a try. You never know what friendships await you.
