The relentless blathering and bleating of branch library supporters makes me wonder: have they ever been to a library? They should try it. Grab a book. Start with a dictionary. Look up democracy. If one is still confused, there are plenty of other books that will explain the concept in greater detail.
Almost two of every three voters said NO to the branch library.
City council was elected democratically. I applaud Councillors Sheena Hughes and Ray Watkins for standing up for the very principles that put them in public office. The democratic process seems to be misunderstood by the mayor and her voting bloc.
