Are you kidding me? In the toughest economic time in Alberta, in years, Mayor Tom Flynn and the Sturgeon County councillors (except two), in their infinite wisdom, have decided to give themselves and all county employees a raise. Which will also increase residents’ taxes. All this, as hard working people are losing their jobs in droves.
If this county has so much extra cash, maybe it should go into our infrastructure instead of the mayor and councillors’ pockets. Don’t worry, the county residents will remember this when it comes election time in October 2017.
