Bravo Dana Popadynetz, I really appreciated your letter (Gazette, Feb. 28). Your response to the electricity franchise fee option proposed by council was very well thought-out, factual, well written and presented a very strong argument against franchise fee implementation. My hope is that each city council member will read your letter, and in April when Councillor Wes Brodhead makes the motion to introduce franchise fees in St. Albert, the majority of the councillors will come to the same conclusion and vote against the adoption of the motion.
I like the way you think and the way you presented your argument, we need people like you running for public office. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
