Stop the dog barking

I'm sending out an urgent plea to whoever owns a dog that has been barking day and night in the Woodlands/Parkwood area. I believe that the barking is coming from this general area as I live in Parkwood. The temperature has been getting colder each day and now with it being severe, I am horrified that there is someone out there who is not keeping his or her dog indoors. I am begging the owner to either keep the dog inside or give it up for adoption to someone who will.

If you are the owner, please do the right thing immediately as I can only presume the extreme hardship and suffering that this poor innocent animal is being forced to endure. With his/her barking it is more than obvious it is very distressed and cold to the core.

If you are a neighbour, do the right thing and report the situation to the local RCMP/Animal Control. I just spoke with them and they can only take action if they know the location of the dog, as I was unable to give them the address.

Please, someone, please help this poor dog. Imagine trying to survive outside in this horrible cold without any recourse to the warmth of a home.

I hope someone with a conscience will step up. Many people don't want to make bad feelings with their neighbours and so turn a blind eye to cruelty but let me ask you, if your neighbour is guilty of treating their dog like this, is that someone you need to be worried about offending?
