The spectacle that is our city council is embarrassing to say the least. The tone, sarcasm and innuendo has reached a critical point. Councillors were elected in order to represent ALL of the citizens of this city.
Please council, stop revisiting motions that have already been passed and move on to new business. The time council spends on minutiae is considerable. Also be succinct with what you say and stay on point. The distrust of administration and nasty tone on the part of some, is no doubt contributing to the exodus of senior administrative staff. I believe it is contributing to the sometimes hateful discourse in this city as well. Stop the incessant bickering and get on with business.
