We would like to express our appreciation to the police officers who we met last Tuesday night, Dec. 19, while walking along Elliot Place. We had just found out that my son's Beavers' night was not happening so decided to make the most of the hour and see the lights.
Lo and behold, we were stopped by none other than St. Nick in a police car handing out hot chocolate! As new residents of St. Albert, we were pleasantly surprised by the gesture and will remember it as part of our first Christmas here.
