We recently moved to a downtown seniors home in St. Albert and are curious as to what the actual speed limit is on the St. Albert Trail. Some days we think we are at “Night Thunder” at Castrol Raceways and other times we're sure we are at “the drag races.”
We recently moved to a downtown seniors home in St. Albert and are curious as to what the actual speed limit is on the St. Albert Trail.
Some days we think we are at “Night Thunder” at Castrol Raceways and other times we're sure we are at “the drag races.” We felt like we took our lives in our hands to attempt to walk down the sidewalk beside the trail – scary! We also wonder if there is any noise by-laws in St. Albert because we know for sure some of these bikes/cars are running straight pipes. We have even heard trucks using their air brakes which is pretty well disallowed in most cities.
We wonder if a little more police presence would help to slow some of these racers down a bit.
