St. Albert has always been a helping, faith-filled community. Why do we not volunteer to take all the Syrian refugees on Canada's “Approved Refugee” list – all nine (yes, nine!) of them? Could St.

Could St. Albert absorb nine new people in the next year or four (the time it takes Immigration to process refugee claims).

Why do voters in Alberta continue to swallow Stephen Harper's slogan of "Be afwaid - be Vewy Afwaid?" We should instead respond to his Elmer Fudd routine with Bugs Bunny's immortal "Hey! What's up, Doc?" – and start helping people in such desperate need.
