Speeder should take responsibiity for actions

I’ve lived in St. Albert for 13 years and I’ve never received a photo radar ticket. I feel sorry for Irene Tremblay, as her thinking is way off base. St. Albert isn’t trying to get your money or steal it.

St. Albert isn’t trying to get your money or steal it. Why have you gotten two speeding tickets? Is it because you are the one breaking the law and speeding? Isn’t there a speed tolerance of at least 10 kilometres per hour? That means that if you were in a 50 km/h-zone, you were going over 60 km/h or 65km/h, which is speeding.

Why are you driving so fast? You deserve to pay the penalty. It doesn’t matter what age you are or how many taxes you already pay. Maybe you shouldn’t be driving anymore. There are many services for seniors that are available and senior housing that have lower taxes.

I’m middle-class and live in a middle-class neighbourhood, but my taxes certainly are not as high as yours. It sounds like you can more than afford to pay the penalty for not obeying the law. Take ownership of your own behaviour and quit blaming others.
