St. Albert is becoming overrun with a new class of citizen. This new class must be very special given the privileges they are afforded.
I haven't noticed any special designation on their vehicles pointing out that they are so special that they are allowed to park wherever they wish. The most common breed of this new class are those allowed to park in handicapped parking stalls as they wish.
Just recently at the Wendy's/Tim Hortons location, which has four handicap parking stalls, three of these were taken by our special citizens. Meanwhile an elderly lady using a walker had to walk past these special citizens as she went inside.
I wonder if someday I can achieve these special privileges, but on second thought, NO THANKS.
