I take my clothing donations to the bins by the Canadian Tire Gas Bar and I am so disgusted at people for the things they leave. It clearly states on each donation bin that it is for clothing only. I have seen, garbage, tables, couches, chairs, mattresses, appliances etc. Should I go on?
I am not sure if these people realize that it is the responsibility of the organization that owns the donation bin to get rid of all the garbage and items that are not clothing. This costs them extra money. They have to take money from the sales of their donations and pay someone to take away the junk. Please remember that we have Loseca, Salvation Army and Value village that will be happy to take items off your hands instead of using these donation bins as dumpsites. Thank you, Jack Trueman
