Pay decently and you will find workers. Citizens, your government does not have to support those business owners who refuse to pay Canadian workers a decent wage. Some business owners want their issues surrounding temporary foreign workers talked about and are calling for changes to regulations that initially were put in place to protect the Canadian worker.
Watch for those who want to exploit others in order to line their pockets. It may be incomprehensible for ones who glorify money but lining only a few pockets at the expense of others jeopardizes the health of our people and the fabric of our communities.
Respecting the Canadian worker with fair wages shortens lineups at the food bank. Fair pay shortens lineups for disease interventions.
Beware of those businesses who refuse to pay decent wages or state that there are no other alternatives. Some businesses don't provide quality goods and don't need to be kept in Canadian communities. Let’s take good care of the Canadians that we have.
