Slow down for the kids

This letter is to all the mothers who deliver and pick up their children daily to and from Leo Nickerson School and you know who you are.

This letter is to all the mothers who deliver and pick up their children daily to and from Leo Nickerson School and you know who you are. You are the ones that abandon your cars at the end of Fawcett and Farmstead and then drop your kids at school – once you have safely delivered your children then you speed down Fawcett to get to your next destination with no thought of the children that live on that crescent.

Not only are there very small children on this street but there are also deaf children and there are signs on each corner of the crescent to indicate this – oh yeah, you missed them, you are going too fast.

Thank goodness school will be over soon and you should have no need to drive down our street. In the meantime, please slow down on our crescent.
