With the mild temperatures of the past few weekends, I have been out on my vehicle. I follow the rules of the road for a vehicle. I work really hard to go as fast as possible but cannot reach 50 km/hr. I travel in the shoulder of the road when there is one or choose streets with two lanes when there is no shoulder so I have a lane for my slow moving vehicle.
So if you pass me in my lane rather than move over to the other lane don't be surprised if I display some road rage as it is my life at stake when you drive dangerously – you would never pass me in the same lane if I was driving a car rather than a bicycle.
Please share the road and give cyclists some room as you pass.
