Here is a shout out to city Coun. Bob Russell ( I have no idea if he reads the Your Views, my sincere wish is that he does). I just read the front page of the Saturday, Nov. 14 Gazette. Shame on you for your bullying tactics.
“We have other things to do.” “I will deduct $100 for every email sent regarding the Library expansion.” Shame on you for abusing your seat, you are a public voice for the people in your city. Part of your ‘job’ is to listen to what the people want. There are people around the world literally dying to have their voices heard. And you have the nerve to threaten the citizens here with bullying tactics. They are trying to get a new library, it is the people's right to express this.
We live in a country where (thankfully) we are allowed to voice our opinions, rally for what we want. Vote for what we want. I do not apologize for inconveniencing you. ‘You’ should be apologizing to the people.
But thank you for solidifying why I did not vote for you.
