After reading a recent negative letter to the editor about Servus Place, I felt compelled to present another view.
We recently moved from a private gym to Servus Credit Union Place. I am a senior. My wife and I could not be happier with our move. We find everything to be first class. The options for recreation and exercise exceed what we can get anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and well trained to deal with the public. Recreational areas are well maintained. Ongoing events seem to run smoothly.
But the best part is that every visit we get to watch truly happy, smiling children and their families enjoy playing and being together in this wonderful community facility. The few additional tax dollars we contribute to support Servus Place operations are well worth it. We find membership rates are reasonable. Where can you get a full month’s access to health, wellness and entertainment for less than a tank of gas?
Now that we’ve had our own experience using the facility, it appears to us that the negative letters printed in the Gazette and the Saint City News come from people who have the “me” philosophy, “I want, what I want, when I want it.”
