Here is an idea for St. Albert councillors to mull over. Instead of saying no to a free pass to Servus for our octogenarians, why don’t they re-evaluate the cost and added value of some of the public “art” project proposals that are on their agenda for review?
Surely a little consideration for the seniors who have spent their lives working and contributing to our community, province and country is worth more than a few yellow ducks on poles in a traffic circle.
Remember that a society is judged on how it treats its elders.
