I had the great pleasure of attending the Big Sugar concert at the annual Rainmaker rodeo. As a longtime resident of St. Albert I was looking forward to seeing some old friends there at the beer garden and have some supper.
Well I did see lots of old friends and get something to eat but nowhere to sit or socialize. This was my first time back to the rodeo in 25 years and my last.
Maybe next year with it being the 50th anniversary of said event the organizers could have some chairs and tables to sit and eat at. I do not smoke but they had a smoke pit for smokers and no ash cans, so cigarette butts were tossed on the floor. Maybe next year.
