In regards to the elderly gentleman who was killed in the crosswalk at our hospital, the best thing the city could do is to remove that crossing rather than installing a controlled crosswalk. Despite the little child who was mowed down by a school bus, drivers are still flying about our city streets. Akins Drive to Hebert Road is a quarter-mile race strip and photo radar is a joke. When is enough really enough?
Who will die next? What does it take? Is it the death of your wife, child, mother or beloved grandmother? They say this is one of the safest cities in Canada. Yeah right. Maybe someone’s just taking us to the bank. Does our mayor have our best interests at heart?
