I’m sorry, I seem to be confused. Last time I checked I thought movies were supposed to be fun and/or entertaining.
Every movie has its own draw or enticement to it. Sometimes you want to see a hysterical comedy that doesn’t require much thought or a movie that’s all action, babes and predictable one-liners. Not every movie can be an Oscar winner, nor do they pretend to b.! Yet whenever I seem to glance at the movie reviews, all I see is an extensive and mostly negative dissection of the movies.
I can’t say I’ve read them all, but review them as they should be reviewed. If it’s a no- brainer action flick then compare it to others. If it’s a teen romance then relate to it as such but don’t condemn every movie because it doesn’t meet the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences standard for an Oscar. Or maybe you should just send a reviewer who enjoys watching movies.
