Dear Wile E. Coyote:
If you’re on a St. Albert roadway, there’s no longer a Road Runner to go, “Beep Beep”,
To say, “step aside, you can’t eat those pets like sheep”.
Road Runner, Road Runner’s blocked by speed signs all day,
Even Coyote knows narrowed streets’ve changed his ways.
Road Runner, no coyote’s after you,
Small pets, if he catches you you’re through.
School zones of 30, much too slow, “Beep Beep”,
New zones of 40, much too slow to catch coyote.
City council are really crazy clowns,
When will they learn that they’ve slowed Road Runners down.
Most careful Road Runners never bothered anyone,
Now coyote’s runnin’ down roads eatin’ small dogs just for fun.
