I was out on a run on July 23, with my son. We were running along Sir Winston Churchill right around the provincial building when we came upon a lady walking a golden Lab.
She clearly had no control over the animal as when we ran past them, the dog ran, jumped at me and proceeded to bite me on the leg!
The owner of the dog neither apologized nor offered any sort of caring gesture. I wasn't stopping to get her information, as I was afraid to be bitten by the dog again.
The site of the dog bite is scraped and bruised but it could have been worse. I would hope that the owner of the dog reads this and offers some sort of apology to me.
I would gladly give you a lesson on how to use the locking leash that you have! I would hate to think what would have happened had it been a small child or a small dog who had happened past.
