Photo radar has gone astray from its purpose

I have read countless comments on photo radar that make it abundantly clear how the public views this branch of 'the law'.

I have read countless comments on photo radar that make it abundantly clear how the public views this branch of “the law.”

Is anybody out there listening to the point of instrumenting change to the system? There is no mistake that the way photo radar is being used is largely not for the purposes of protecting the public.

Would it not be fairer for fines to be justified to give clear indication of how and why the drivers’ behaviour would contribute to a collision, i.e. by showing the accident sites associated with the location, and other pertinent contributing factors? So much easier to just apply the fine, right?

I’m all for habitual speeders to be taken off the road, but the way photo radar is being administered has likely gone astray from its intended purpose.

Tell me how the public is in a position to make necessary changes for photo radar to be reconstituted to serve the public instead of to penalize them? In my opinion, we need an independent public review!
