Photo radar a safety, quality of life hazard

I have read with interest letters about the photo radar in St. Albert. I have no problem with people who speed receiving a ticket and paying a fine.

I have read with interest letters about the photo radar in St. Albert. I have no problem with people who speed receiving a ticket and paying a fine.

I do, however, object to property being damaged, the line of vision being obstructed and pollution in the name of justice. I live on a corner lot and have to back my vehicle out of my garage onto the street. I have had trees removed and my hedges cut back so I would be able to see oncoming traffic; this worked well until the photo radar van began parking there. Winter snow has been plowed into a pile for the photo radar van — a pile so high I am unable to see oncoming traffic. My hedges have been crushed and my fence broken and I am subjected to toxic fumes every time they park there.
