Perron and St. Anne poem

I love this little city St.

I love this little city

St. Albert is the name

But when it comes to traffic

Patience is the game

I finally got used to the Trail

Where left turns are truly a pain

But I have to agree it is safer

Though I do so with disdain

But now I see a problem

Which needs to see a ban

What the hell goes on

At Perron and St. Anne!

You can’t turn left; You can’t turn right

Testing this patient man

When the light is showing red

At Perron and St. Anne

I sit there stopped, mainly alone

And I am really not a fan

As there is almost no traffic

At Perron and St. Anne

I send an email, then I text

My long lost buddy Dan

Cause there is nothing else to do

Waiting at Perron and St. Anne

I can guess the reason

Yes I think I can

The good old farmers’ market

Starts at Perron and St. Anne

But at any other time

You can kick a can

Down the intersection

Of Perron and St. Anne

I hope this is a test

Which no longer will be ran

I want to turn right on a red

At Perron and St. Anne
